Technical Description
The Amazon thermal heating unit is designed for offshore and onshore thermal post-heat and pre-
heating operations utilising the latest technology and up to date design functionality.
The Amazon incorporates automatic power regulation system to maximise power utilization
enabling the unit to use less than 25% of the energy used in older designs, this energy saving
enables the user to perform work from a 3 phase 32amp power supply in the majority of
applications. The power input range is 380-500v 3 phase + E , universal input.
The heating unit incorporates two advanced 8kw 48vdc 166amp power outputs each controlled by
a digital programmer / control unit, a 6 channel hybrid chart recorder is included for monitoring.
The Amazon design is based on rack technology, the ruggedized rotomoulded rack case is
compliant to MIL-STD 810F and IP65 and the internal equipment is mounted on 8 resilient mounts,
this equipment is designed to endure the harshest of conditions in both military and industrial
environments worldwide.
